AhlulBayt News Agency: Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić announced on Monday evening that Serbia has decided to halt all weapons exports to the Israeli regime amid its ongoing war on Palestinians in Gaza.
Vučić said the decision followed a meeting with senior military officials, including the Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces.
The announcement came just one day after student-led protests in Belgrade, organized by the group “Support for the People of Palestine – Serbia,” called for an end to arms sales to Israel.
Meanwhile, at least 24 Palestinians seeking food aid were killed and dozens injured early Tuesday in Israeli airstrikes across Gaza.
Local sources reported that five bodies were pulled from the rubble of a bombed house in the Sabra neighborhood south of Gaza City and transferred to al-Shifa Medical Complex.
In another attack, al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat received 19 bodies and 146 wounded after Israeli forces bombed a crowd waiting for food on Salah al-Din Street near Wadi Gaza.
Medical staff said 62 of the injured were in critical condition and were transferred to other hospitals in central Gaza for treatment.
Since October 7, 2023, over 56,000 Palestinians—mostly women and children—have been killed in Israel’s military campaign in Gaza.
The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants in November for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former defense minister Yoav Gallant for alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity.
Israel is also facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice over its actions in Gaza.
